Old Publix Supermarket Shell - in HDR Equirectangular
An old Publix grocery supermarket in Holiday, Florida that has been abandoned. There is one homeless persons camp and lots of dust. Interesting graffiti on the walls. This image was made with a Sigma DP2 Merrill camera using a Gigapan Beta imager with 12 columns and 6 row, three exposures per location with 2.66 EV difference between exposure. Raw images were converted to TIFFs with Sigma Photo Pro default settings. Theese braketed triple exposures were fused in Photomatrix Pro using 'Exposure Fusion - Realistic'. The 72 images were then stitched in PtGUI. The resultant was imported into Photoshop CC where 'auto' color correction was applied, and an image nadir was produced to create a full 360x180 degree projection. No sharpening or resizing of the image has occurred. The Gigapan imager was set to trigger a single exposure at each stop, but the Sigma DP2 Merrill was set up for auto-braketing so three exposures were taken when the mode is set for a 2 second self timer. The Gigapan was set for 13 seconds per stop in order to allow for enough time to write the three raw images to a 90 MB/s SD card (a shorter time would have exhausted the 7 shot buffer, but 13 seconds was sufficient to keep frames available in the buffer)
